We are looking for a friendly, approachable, detail oriented and outgoing candidate to join our growing team. 
This is a full time, on-site role.
The job description includes:
-Offering expertise in the dispensary areas of frame selection, lens selection and dispensing to patients.
-Frame adjustment and repairs
-Educating patients about proper eyewear care and ensuring customer satisfaction
-Ensuring accurate record keeping, managing patient invoicing, payments and insurance billings
-Quality control - checking lab orders for accuracy
-Optical lab edging (when applicable)
- Assist in visual field perimetry testing and contact lens teaches
- Assist in conducting preliminary tests on patients, such as auto-refraction and Retinal Imaging
Full time position with an average of 40 hours a week, Tuesday evening (until 7:30 pm) and Saturday availability is mandatory. Previous work experience in Eye care field is an asset, fluency in English is mandatory. Attention to detail and excellent customer service is required.
 
Qualifications
  • Licensed Optician or Certified Optometric Assistant is a plus
  • Strong customer service and satisfaction skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and team members.
  • Knowledge of optics
