We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a full-time Front Desk Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to cover a two-year maternity leave, with the potential to transition into a permanent full-time role as we expand our team and services offered in the clinic. Previous experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train a suitable candidate. We are committed to investing in our team members' growth and development, with in office training and external continuing education events.

Responsibilities
- Greet patients and manage check-in and check-out process
- Invoicing and processing third-party insurance
- Schedule eye exams, follow-ups, and additional testing
- Maintain recall system and manage web booking
- Assist with visual field testing and patient imaging

We are looking for an Optical Dispenser / Optician to join our team. We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for helping others and providing the best patient experience possible. This position is for an upcoming maternity leave, with a potential opportunity of becoming a permanent role.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- have experience with edging and mounting all types of lenses
- Perform lensometry and final inspection on completed jobs
- Educate patients about types of lenses, advantages and coatings
- Assist with personalizing frame and lens selections based on lifestyle and prescription requirements
- Assist with dispensing, adjusting, repairs and adapting to glasses
- Provide excellent customer service and address all patient needs
- be adaptable and flexible to changes and welcoming walk-in patients.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Optical dispensing experience is a requirement for the position
- Applicants must be able to work in Canada legally
- Applicants must live in the Kamloops, BC area and be available for an in-person meeting
- Onsite role
Pay: From $24.50 per hour + Retention bonus will also be offered.
